What is the form of suspended solids removal in water by dissolved air flotation?

The flotation method seems profound, but the principle is not complicated. It uses a certain technology to generate a large number of tiny bubbles in the water. These bubbles adhere tightly to the suspended particles in the wastewater to form scum, thereby easily removing suspended solids in the water.
The flotation method is widely used in various occasions, especially for treating wastewater with a lot of suspended solids that are difficult to remove by sedimentation. Whether it is papermaking wastewater, petrochemical wastewater, or low-temperature and low-turbidity cement water with a lot of algae, the flotation method can show its prowess.
There are three main forms of flotation. The first is dissolved air flotation, which uses pressure changes to generate bubbles and is suitable for water purification, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater treatment. The second is the dispersed air flotation method, which breaks air into tiny bubbles through mechanical action and is used for mineral flotation, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater treatment. The last is the electrolytic flotation method, which uses direct current to generate microbubbles and is mainly used to treat wastewater containing metal ions, oils, cheese and other substances.
