Product Description
Horizontal dissolved air flotation is a water treatment process that purifies wastewater (or other water) by removing suspended solids such as oil or solids. Removal is accomplished by dissolving air in water or wastewater under pressure and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation cell. The released air forms tiny air bubbles that stick to the suspended matter, allowing it to float to the surface, where it can then be removed by a skimming device.
