How does Shallow Air Flotation use dissolved air system to achieve solid-liquid separation?

Shallow Air Flotation is mainly air flotation tank, dissolved air tank, dissolved air water pump, dosing mixer combined with air compressor or ejector, releaser. This kind of equipment occupies a small area and is easy to operate. It can also shorten the installation time and reduce the workload.

Shallow Air Flotation mainly plays the role of solid-liquid separation. The dissolved air generated by the dissolved air system is mainly used to release the micro-bubbles in the water, which are bonded to the suspended flocs in the water. The suspended matter rises to the water surface with the micro-bubbles to form scum and remove the suspended flocs in the water. The user only needs to connect and adjust the PH sewage to enter and exit the nozzle. After debugging, the operation is normal, no special management is required, and the operation basically reaches the state of automation and unmanned management.

1. The flocs formed after coagulation of wastewater are often not uniform in size and density. While sedimentation methods can easily remove most of the heavier flocs, they are often powerless with small particulate matter. Therefore, many sedimentation tanks will float some small flocs or scum on the upper part after operation; but Shallow Air Flotation is different. All the particles that can move at the top can be placed on the top through the small air bubbles, so the treatment effect is generally better than the precipitation method.

2. Generally speaking, Shallow Air Flotation uses less reagent than precipitation method. Although the method of adding chemicals is basically the same, the dependence of the air flotation method on the coagulation effect is not as strong as that of the sedimentation method; if the coagulation effect is not good, the effect of the sedimentation tank will often be greatly reduced, while the air flotation method is relatively good. Even if no large alum is formed during the coagulation process, good treatment results can still be achieved.
