How to judge whether the flotation equipment needs maintenance?

1. Decreased operating performance
Observe the effluent water quality. If the suspended solids removal rate decreases and the effluent becomes turbid, it may mean that the flotation equipment has poor treatment effect and needs maintenance.
Pay attention to whether the treatment volume is significantly lower than the design standard. If the treatment capacity decreases, there may be problems inside the equipment.
2. Abnormal sound and vibration
When the equipment is running, abnormal noise, vibration or friction sound may be a sign of loose components, wear or failure.
3. Abnormal bubble generation
If the bubble size is uneven, the number is reduced or the bubble release is unstable, it may be a malfunction of the dissolved air system.
4. Poor scraping effect
Accumulation of scum, incomplete scraping, or uneven operation of the scraper all indicate that the scraping device needs to be inspected and maintained.
5. Electrical system problems
Frequent tripping of electrical components, control failure, abnormal motor heating, etc. may indicate that the electrical system is faulty or needs maintenance.
6. Equipment appearance inspection
If corrosion, rust, deformation, cracks, etc. are found on the surface of the equipment, it indicates that the structure of the equipment may be damaged.
7. Regular inspection cycle
Even if the equipment seems to be operating normally, it should be fully inspected and maintained according to the scheduled regular inspection plan to prevent potential problems.
8. Changes in energy consumption
If the energy consumption suddenly increases without a corresponding increase in processing capacity, it may be that some parts of the equipment are working less efficiently and need maintenance.
