1. Dissolved air device
The dissolved air device is the core part of the dissolved air flotation machine. It is mainly used to dissolve gas in water. The commonly used gas dissolving devices are gas pressure release devices and gas dissolving devices.
The gas pressure release device releases the gas from the high-pressure state through the pressure release valve, allowing the gas to enter the air flotation tank. The gas dissolving device uses the principle of increasing the contact area between gas and water to uniformly dissolve gas in water through a multi-stage contactor or gas dispersion device.
2. Flotation tank
The air flotation tank is the main processing unit of the dissolved air flotation machine. It is the place where tiny bubbles formed by gas dissolution in water come into contact with and gather suspended substances. There are usually gas distributors and stirring devices inside the flotation tank.
The gas distributor is mainly used to evenly distribute the gas dissolved in the water to the entire flotation tank to ensure that the bubbles can fully contact the suspended matter. The stirring device is used to increase the contact opportunities between bubbles and suspended substances and improve the combination effect of bubbles and suspended substances.
3. Clear pool
The clean water tank is the tail water treatment unit of the dissolved air flotation machine. It is mainly used to collect water treated by the air flotation tank and discharge the clean water. Clean water tanks are usually equipped with drainage devices and floating debris collection devices.
The drainage device is used to control the water level in the clean water tank to maintain a certain water load. At the same time, it can also discharge clean water to the next process or directly. The floating matter collection device is used to collect the floating matter rising to the water surface in the flotation tank for treatment and discharge.
